The ghost of OHS

Have you ever seen a ghost before? Well the OHS has a ghost, This school has been haunted ever since last year. The ghosts name is Contessa.  She is 14 now; she died when she was 13 from a stroke which took place at the school in the music room. Contessa has bright red hair and brown eyes.  She wears a blue sweatshirt because blue is her favorite color.  Her feet are weird because she has two left feet.  With a tall and skinny body that smells like wonderful strawberries. When you pass the music room, you might hear a soft yet magical voice.
This beautiful young lady loves to sing. Contessa loves country music, it helps her feel calm. Her favorite song is “Roller Coster” by Luke Bryan.   She has a wonderful personality, but if you make her angry she goes to mad/upset mode. This ghost may not seem scary, but at night she turns into a whole different person. If I were you, I would visit the school in the day rather then at night.
One morning,  there was this small girl that was wondering in the ginormous halls after school. Her name is Anna, she was knew to the school, She happened to pass by the music room. As she heard the ghost of OHS singing. Anna tip-toed into the room, she didn’t see anyone in there, Contessa had stopped singing. While Anna was walking around the room Contessa was steadily following behind her with no unforeseen noise.  Because it was morning, Contessa left her alone.
Then one night after a basketball game, Anna was walking by the music room and heard the singing again. Anna quickly opened the door trying to see if she could spot the ghost in there. This upset Contessa and she swooshed across the room knocking down Anna.   Anna ran and hid behind the drums, Contessa Chased her knocking over all of the instruments. Screaming hysterically Anna crawled trying to get out of the room before the ghost could hurt her.
Anna made it to the door and ran to find a phone and call the police, but then she thought to herself would the police believe that there is a ghost trying to get her. They would think she was crazy. Mr. Fisher saw her and asked her if she needed a ride home, Anna said that she would love to have a ride. As they were leaving, Anna felt a tug on her shirt. She knew that it was the ghost, but she didn’t bother to say anything she just wanted to go home. Anna will return again.

Halloween at Hogwarts

Leandra Lawton
Period 4

                                                                        Halloween at Hogwarts
As I, Harry Potter, walked in the great hall with Ron Weasley, my best friend, we were smelling delicious food.  We could smell pumpkin pie, chocolate fountain, pizza, etc. It was our first year of Hogwarts. Halloween was our favorite season. Hogwarts School is ginormous, and quite very magical. We both scurried to the food. I was starving, so I jostled food in my mouth.
When I finished with this first treat, I came across a bowl of soup. It looked devouring there were bugs in it. The soup looked mysterious. It smelled burnt. I asked Professor Dumbledore what it was.  He replied,  “that this soup was called “Troppia”.   “Yuck, thats sounds disgusting,” Dumbledore and I chuckled. Dumbledore replied, “children know it does taste better than it looks and sounds, You kids shall try it.” I thought to myself “ Well, he was right maybe we should try it.” I was forcing myself to try it. After, I tasted the soup, it tasted tremendous. Dumbledore was right! The soup does taste more scrumptious than it looks and sounds. Ron concurred. There were decorations everywhere. The decorations were tremendous; bats flying, flying pumpkins, ghosts scattering in the building.   The activities involved costumes, broom racing, food fights, and eating contests.

I would admit even though this was our first day of school in Hogwarts, it has been fantastic already. Today was a fantabulous day at Hogwarts. If I could, I would stay there forever. This school is more amazing than the other schools I have ever had. I would love to return again!

My Nursery Rhyme

My Version
"Little Boy Blue”

Little Infinite Boy Blue, come blow you ginormous horn. The loving sheep’s in the meadow, the chubby cows. Where is the little boy that looks after the sheep? “He’s under the haystock, fast asleep. Will you wake him? “No, not I; For if I do, he shall be sure to cry.
 Original Version
"Little Boy Blue, come blow your horn..."
Little Boy Blue, come blow your horn.
The sheep's in the meadow, the cow's in the corn.
Where is the boy that looks after the sheep?
"He's under the haycock, fast asleep."
Will you wake him? "No, not I;
For if I do, he'll be sure to cry."
